Founded by Marquita and Robert over 11 years ago, Girlfriend Apparel began as more than just a clothing brand—it was a way to express confidence, connection, and culture through fashion. What began as an idea between two people who believed in each other has grown into a brand that celebrates relationships, self-love, empowerment, and authenticity.
We believe what you wear should say something about who you are and what you stand for. Our designs are inspired by real-life love stories, Black culture, motivation, and everyday moments that deserve to be celebrated.
